Important Announcement

The STEM for All Video Showcase is now at the end of its funding cycle. We are grateful to NSF for funding this effort from 2015 - 2023. We have now converted this Video Showcase to a static site in order to ensure that you will have continued access to all videos. You can still search the videos by presenter name, use multiple filters to find those that are of interest to you, and read the discussions that took place.

Please note that some of the information below may no longer apply, as the event is now closed. Videos from all Video Showcases (2015 - 2022) are accessible on the STEM for All Multiplex.

  • All videos  must reference funder support (e.g. NSF, ED, NOAA) in the actual video. Most presenters add this reference to the very end of their video with a grant #, funder logo, and a disclaimer statement. Upon submission, we will reject any video that does not include the proper reference.
  • If your project is funded by NSF, we list the requirements below.
  • If your project is funded by another federal agency, you should follow their protocol, as required. Below, we provide information that we have gathered for some federal agencies, but encourage you to be in touch with your program officer and/or your agency with any questions about their particular requirements.
  • To see samples of videos with credits, you can view some of the videos from last year's showcase (credits are usually at the end of videos) here: 2021 STEM for All Video Showcase. Note: When viewing this listing of videos from last year's showcase, you can use the 'By NSF and Other Federal Agencies' filter to find videos funded by the different federal agencies.

 

NSF Requirements

If your project is funded by NSF, the video MUST show the NSF logo, award number, and disclaimer in the video. Any NSF-funded video that does not have all three of these things will be rejected. Here is sample acknowledgement and disclaimer text: 
This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. ('your' NSF grant # here). Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.

Suggested Guidelines for Federal Agencies other than NSF

IMLS

Projects funded by IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services) should include a credit line and disclaimer statement like this sample below:

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services <IMLS grant number>. The views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this (publication) (program) (exhibition) (website) (article) do not necessarily represent those of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

NASA

Projects funded by NASA should include a Grant/ Cooperative Agreement Acknowledgement and Disclaimer statement like this sample below:

The material contained in this <video title> is based upon work supported by NASA under cooperative agreement No. NNX#####.  Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

NIH

Projects funded by the NIH, should include a credit line and disclaimer statement like this sample below:

Research reported in this <video> was supported by <name of the Institute(s), Center, or other NIH offices> of the National Institutes of Health under award number <specific NIH grant number(s) in this format: R01GM987654.> The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.

Projects funded by ONR (Office of Naval Research), require acknowledgement and a disclaimer statement like this sample below:
